Power up your 360° media — compress, edit, and share without limits!

What Makes Whereness Different

1

Unified Media Management

Import large volumes of diverse media—360° photos and videos, 2D photos and videos, and 3D assets including Gaussian Splat models—into a single project. No need to split across tools or formats.

2

Built-In Editing and Beginner Friendly Interface

You can create and edit complex projects directly in the browser. The platform's interface is easy to navigate and can be learned quickly. You do not need to have professional background to use Whereness - simply follow this guide to make your first project in simple steps.

3

Instant Optimization

Media is automatically optimized. Images are reduced to about 50% of their original size using compression and techniques that preserve visual quality.

4

Smooth Video Streaming

Video is processed for fast playback and quick distribution. That means shorter load times and seamless viewing across devices.

5

Protect & Share Your Projects

You have complete control over project access: make it private, public or share it only with your team. Your data is securely kept in a cloud storage, and you can add more layers of protection by password safe keeping your project.

Whereness basically works like this:

You create a project and upload your 360° or 3D files. These files are stored in the platform’s cloud.

To display a file, you place it into a scene — an immersive, first-person-viewable environment. A project is made up of scenes, along with a media library and editing tools.

You can create a simple one scene project, or create multiple scenes, and organize and connect them however you like, to create a more complex environment. Enhance your scenes by adding visual, interactive or sound additions, to create fully immersive experiences.

You can keep your projects private, publish them or choose who can view the project with password protection.

This enables multiple ways to use Whereness:

Share and compress a 360° or 3D file effortlessly
  • Outside Whereness, 360° images and videos appear distorted, but in Whereness, they become fully immersive and accurate.

  • 3D models, which usually require special software and can be shared online only as a flat image, can now be showcased beautifully and experienced from every angle.

Thanks to automatic compression, even large files can be shared smoothly.

Create and share interactive environments

You can build a project with multiple connected scenes, each using different 360° or 3D files, organized however you like. These environments can be experienced from a first-person, VR-like perspective and enhanced with visual tags, text, sounds, and area maps.

Create interactive environments with access only for selected audiences

You have control over who has access to viewing your project. You can create immersive virtual environments for specific audiences like company employees, research group members, students etc. You can make an additional layer of protection by password keeping project access.

No need to worry about losing data - the projects are connected to cloud storage 24/7.

Store your files in the cloud

Whereness features a powerful cloud storage. Use it to store your files and download them to your device whenever you need.

Compress files easily

Use Whereness to quickly and automatically compress files.

For Storage and Compress function, Whereness works with both 360 and regular images and videos. 3D files can also be compressed and stored.
